How to play:
 
1. Students should choose 1 prefecture they want to go to. It will be easier for students if the teacher can show some photos before the activity to introduce students to the various festivals in Tohoku.
2. Then make pairs and play janken. The winner asks 'Where do you want to go?'. Their partner answers 'I want to go to _____.' The winner then introduces the festival from the prefecture their partner wants to visit. 'In ______, you can enjoy _________ Festival.' Then write the name of the student in the space next to the festival they introduced.
3. Then change roles.
4. At the end of the activity the teacher should check to see what prefecture was the most popular with students.
